Exercise#6: OHP "Traditional"

In this 6th activity we are tasked to provide an instructional material through the use of Transparency Sheets to be viewed in an overhead projector. there are do's and dont's that our teacher mentioned in making an instructional material. A lesson plan was being based. It is your creativity that it is being measured here for it depends upon you on what are you going to write your lesson in a way that it can catch student's interest and attention. guided with our teacher he discussed the different techniques on how to write on the transparency sheet including drawings.

Learnings:

Because of this activity I have learned something new in writing or making an instructional material in a transparency sheet effectively. like the overlapping of images and words on a separate sheet. Aside from that it is a must that every sheet must not be overcrowded. I can compare this in making a PowerPoint presentation. In a transparency sheet you have the power to bold or have it capital any word that you want to emphasize. Even though OHP is a traditional equipment it can still be a tool that can enhance student's learning process.

Exercise#5: Non-Objective Shapes "Close Your Eyes"

In this 5th activity I find it intricate for there is a need to close your eyes while writing or forming any lines. It is non-objective in a sense that you did not plan any shapes that you want to form with a closed eyes. After that you will color the different gaps between the lines and tried to formulate what is the common thing you have formed.

Learnings:

I find this activity more on value formation. it is trusting in you self, your capability as a person with the guidance of God Almighty. Even though at the moment that our eyes are closed but still there is One Supreme being who guided as always in the right path.Even if our eyes are closed there are still shapes or objects that we can formed after the journey of our pen on the paper.

Next is being a keen observer or being a analytical thinker. it is a must that in every gap you must fill it out with color. Same in life, in every mistakes that we commit there is a lesson that we learned from it.

Exercise#4: Nine Techniques "Realistic One"

In this 4th activity our tasked is to draw a tree and with the nine techniques of shading it is a must to fill the half of the tree. Shading makes the drawing close to reality because it adds life. Value of determination and patience is tested here in which it should be applied to finish this activity.

Learnings:

I realized that shading drawing is not just plainly shading it for nothing but because of shading it adds life to the image. i have learned the nine techniques of shading. not just skill and cognitive domain i have learned in this activity but as well as the affective domain. my patience is improved which a teacher should possessed and being determined to finish the activity within the allotted time.

Exercise#3: The Human Face "Draw like an Artists"

Drawing, drawing. During my childhood years, when it comes to drawing i am really poor with it. i like to draw but my drawing doesn't like me at all. in this activity we are assigned to draw a face, a Human Face. All i know is ball and stick. With the help of our teacher he guided us on how to do this complicated thing simpler by giving a step by step procedure.

 Learnings:

My skill in drawing is being improved. at least with the help of EdTech course i was enable to draw human face by acquiring basic steps to be followed and remembered. As a future teacher it is good to have this drawing skill especially in visualizing some ideas or it is in need during discussion. From ball and stick I can really say that I can draw a closer image of a Human face.

Exercise No.1: Visualization "On the Spot"

First activity in Educational Technology Laboratory our skill in visualizing things is tested. We are assigned to draw what is in our mind if we heard a specific abstract word. On the spot, our teacher tell us the words to be draw. These includes freedom, strength, unity and energy. In other words you will interpret the abstract into real objects that symbolizes it.

Learnings:

Visualization is very important as a future teacher. as a teacher it is a must to encourage the students to think beyond thinking or meta-cognition skills. It enables me to think as fast as i could and think deeper on what is the appropriate representation should I draw with the given abstract nouns.
